Preface: This summer, we are taking time to feature some of our amazing postcard teams.

East of I-85 and west of I-95, Judy M leads a team that has members from Franklin, Granville, and northern Wake counties. Judy noted, "our team is spread across a wide swath of rural Eastern/Central North Carolina. We support each other, and no one feels alone in the wilderness. Hope lives in relationships." They feel that Stamp NC Blue's postcard effort is effective because, "we are reminding folks that it IS an election year, and it is more important than ever to get out and vote NOW, not wait until 2020."

In addition to writing postcards, members of Judy's team are active with a Franklin County effort where they have "identified 5,000 registered (Democrat) voters who generally do not vote in the mid-term elections. Twenty volunteers are 'adopting' 50 voters to establish and maintain relationships with them at least through the general election in November, perhaps beyond. We call it the 'Adopt 50' campaign. No other county appears to be doing this; we will gladly share information with other County Democratic parties interested in adopting voters, too!"

Judy's team actually could use a few more members, so if you are reading this prior to September 1 and live east of I-85 and west of I-95 within Franklin, Granville, or northern Wake counties and want to participate, email with "Judy's team" in the subject and your name & phone number in the message and we'll connect you!

And last but not least for those of you who are keeping track of the word association questions, here are Judy's responses:

Blue →→→→→ Cool
Red →→→→→ Angry
Orange →→→→→ Yummy
NCGA →→→→→ Angry
