  • From NC Senator Jeff Jackson at 9pm on May 28, posted on Facebook: "UPDATE: They just posted the budget. It's 267 pages. It spends $24b of your tax dollars. And the first vote is... tomorrow morning. Take a look and let me know if you'd feel comfortable signing your name onto this by 11:00 a.m. tomorrow."
  • The budget includes an average 6.5% raise for teachers.
