3-4
The NC candidate filing period closed on Feb 28, so - although candidates can drop out and be replaced under certain circumstances - we know who has filed in each of the five NC House districts we're reaching out to with our postcards. The districts we selected are both competitive and have areas that are difficult to reach for in-person, door-to-door canvassing due to their rural geography or other factors.

The five NC House districts we're reaching out to include:
H-1, including parts of Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Pasquotank, Perquimans, & Tyrrell Counties
HD-35, including Wake Forest and part of Wake County
HD-63, including Burlington and part of Alamance County
HD-93, including Boone and parts of Ashe and Watauga Counties
HD-119, including Cherokee and parts of Haywood, Jackson, & Swain Counties

This week, we'll focus on a district a day, briefly introducing the candidates who have filed and providing some background about the area. We'll provide links to other info we've found, including campaign websites when available, so we can begin to learn about the issues that are most important in these areas and how each candidate proposes to address them. Stamp NC Blue does not endorse candidates.

We hope you'll join us each day for our trip across NC, from the northern Outer Banks to the far western mountains!
